Creating Social Stories Workshop Session Added

I am excited to announce that we have added an additional evening session for our Creating Social Stories for Inclusive Communities workshop.

Social stories, also commonly known as social scripts or social narratives, are documents that use pictures along with storytelling techniques to assist individuals in understanding a new environment, event or task.

Social Stories are a valuable resource for neurodivergent individuals of all ages as they allow us time to mentally prepare for what to expect and bring along what we may need to cope in the environment.

In this interactive workshop, you will have the opportunity to learn what makes an effective social story and walk away with your very own draft social story. You will also have the opportunity to seek feedback from someone with both lived and professional experience of neurodiversity.

You can learn more about this workshop and register to attend by heading to: https://www.brycepaceautismadvocate.com/creating-social-stories-online

I look forward to seeing you there!
