New service helps make Airport more accessible
I was thrilled to be part of the consultation process for Melbourne Airport's groundbreaking Mobility Hubs, designed to assist travellers in navigating the airport with ease!
Through my consultation with Get Skilled Access, we discussed how these hubs could cater to travellers with non-visible disability and I am excited to see that some of my suggestions have been implemented.
These hubs have the real potential to assist so many who find Airports overwhelming by providing a range of essential services, including:
• Accessible information
• Buggy transfers within terminals
• Wheelchair transfers to various locations
• Sensory Packs
• Communication Boards
• Hidden Disability Sunflower Lanyards so you don't have to collect your lanyard from an unmarked office.
You can learn more about how these hubs can assist you by heading to: https://www.melbourneairport.com.au/onsite-mobility-hubs
I look forward to seeing how these hubs evolve over time to assist in making air travel accessible to all.
